SEC_

SEC_ is the guy behind Toxo Records and the musical projects related. He plays a personal system of devices composed by Revox tape recorder, no- input feedback, laptop and electrmagnetic devices. Preserving a strong sense of the shape out of the practices of improvisation, he mixes concrete musique and rythmical non-structures, always gambling on the control and the unexpected.

Aspec(t) works with electro-acoustic instruments, digital devices and systems of feedbacks and resonations. Their music shares the timbrical research and the execution control typical of some radical impro music, but meets the visceral intensity and the obscure poetic of the new aktionsm and of noise music, as well as the research on analog devices and concrete sound materials of the sonic poetry. The result is a fascinating and inextricable forest of sounds: frenetic structures, noise explosions, ancestral cries, an unceasing perversion of the soundscape and the time stream.

Francesco Gregoretti

Francesco Gregoretti is a drummer/ percussionist focused on sound-oriented improvisation. He uses various combinations of drums, objects and amplification systems to create his personal sound world made of nervous and unpredictable rhythms, drones, noises…
Since 1998 he is member of the experimental-heavy band One Starving Day; he is the founding member of the improv-avant-rock project Grizzly Imploded and its various declinations (Strongly Imploded / Oddly Imploded) and he’s part of Many Others (with Olivier Di Placido), Cyanobacteria [from the arabian gulf] with Ron Grieco and Architeuthis Rex band.
He has played with musicians like Will Guthrie, Tetuzi Akiyama, Pascal Battus, Hans Koch, Jonas Kocher, Sharif Sehnaoui, Jean-Marc Foussat, SEC_, Anthea Caddy, Carl Ludwig Hübsch, Guro Moe, Brage Tørmænen…
 

 

Matar Dolores

is a collaborative effort consisting of Francesco Tignola and Giuseppe Esposito, active in Naples, in the south of Italy. Their sound research is based on a massive use of field recordings in a strict compositional perspective and clever breaks of "music"; their gigs usually hit audience for depth and dynamism.

Olivier Di Placido

Olivier Di Placido is a french guitarist. During the years he has developed an absolutely unique approach to his instrument, being able to play it like a turntable, a synthesizer or a gamelan orchestra. Interested in discovering all the possibilities of the guitar, including the most hidden ones, Olivier has litterally invented a new and hybrid instrument, with unfixed neck and moving pick-up.”(Flussi festival 2014)
He plays all around Europe since more than ten years, collaborating with musicians and improvisers like Mario De Vega, Arnaud Riviere, Tony Buck, Anthea Caddy, Jassem Hindi (Les Sorciers Komas), Fritz Welch (UK Tour) SEC_(Bocian records, Noise-Below), Crank Sturgeon and MANY OTHERS w/Francesco Gregoretti (Viande, Scrotum records),,, taking part to international festivals and shows

 

Weltraum

Luca Piciullo: drums, bells

Weltraum play violent and elaborated music since 2003. Their research deals with rythmical blocks, but they are not rock music. Concrete sounds, metals, processed electronics and noise, all these elements mixed with a very intense and primitive drumming. The guitar, prepared with tongs and springs, is percussive and devasting too. There's no melody, nor meaning. Everything hammers.
