Raku di e con Silvia Mai durata 13 min voce Chiara Orefice Percepisco ogni momento di danza un luogo preciso, privilegiato dove osservare, ascoltare ciò che accade; l’atto del “ricevere” è fondante: dare spazio al cambiamento. In questo lavoro, ho inteso affondare la riflessione sullo spazio, il luogo fisico che accoglie la danza, e lo spazio che muove la danza, dirigendo l’attenzione anche sulla dimensione del suono: ogni luogo è anche un paesaggio sonoro entro cui si spiega l’azione ed ogni gesto produce il suono che lo sostiene, udibile o non udibile, è presente, qualità interna della materia. Silvia Mai nasce a Verona nel 1984. Si diploma in Scenografia all’Accademia di Belle arti di Venezia. Nel 2009 incontra Raffaella Giordano ed inizia il percorso biennale di formazione “Scritture per la Danza Contemporanea” al termine del quale, assieme ad altri 11 artisti dello stesso biennio, fonda il gruppo di ricerca sul movimento “FamigliaFuchè”. Dal 2010 inizia la sua collaborazione con il Teatro Valdoca, lavorando come danzatrice nello spettacolo “ Caino”, in “Cage Parade”, e nella seconda parte della Trilogia della Gioia “Ora non hai più paura” (debutto Febbraio 2013). I feel every moment of dancing as a privileged specific place, from where to observe, listen to what is happening, the act of "receiving" is fundamental: to give room to change. In this work, what I intended, was to sink the consideration on space , the physical place that welcomes the dance, and the space that moves the dance, directing the attention to the dimension of the sound as well: every place is also a soundscape within which the action is set and every action produces a sound that supports it, audible or inaudible, is present, as internal quality of the substance. Born in Verona in 1984, SILVIA MAI, graduated in scenography at the Academy of Fine Arts of Venice. In 2009 meets Raffaella Giordano and starts a two-year training course in “Contemporary Dance" at the end of which, together with other 11 artists of the same trainig programme, is co-founder of the-research-on-movement group "FamigliaFuchè." Other important figures for her artistic growth are still Ang Gey Pin, Maria Munoz, Claude Coldy, Cynthia De Lorenzi, Silvia Rampelli, Dominique Dupuy. In 2010 she began working with the Valdoca Theater, working as a dancer in the show "Cain", in the "Cage Parade", and in the second part of the Trilogy of Joy "Now you no longer fear" (with its debut in February 2013). Since 2011 with Chiara Orefice and Sveva Scognamiglio started developing the creation of "Elles sont partout", and a personal authorial approach with her first solo dance "Raku" (Winner of GD'A Prize Veneto 2012)
